Fitted with a lightweight front hub and high specification SKF bearings these will give you good service across those city streets and admiring glances from fellow Bromptonites.

Upgrade your Brompton with a pair of strong hand built Velocity Aeroheat 16″ 349 Brompton wheels. The Brompton takes a battering in the city – the small wheel diameter means the wheels drop into potholes rather than ride over them. Eventually they need replacing and we can rebuild your rear hub (or we can supply a new hub from a number of suppliers) with new Velocity Aeroheat silver rims and Sapim Race double butted silver Brompton spokes and silver or black nipples. We use a lightweight silver front hub with SKF bearings and we can radially lace it with 14 spokes or 28 laced 2 cross.

Note – here’s how it works, you book your wheel build with Strada and send in your rear hub (or wheel) at the appropriate time for us to build it onto a new rim and supply a matching front wheel. This minimises downtime for your bike. We can ship these worldwide at cost.
