Description
DT’s engineers pushed the limits when they designed DT Swiss 180 EXP CL hubs. No detail was overlooked and all components were weight-optimized, resulting in a lightweight, durable hub for discerning riders. Easy to service and swap from QR to Thru bolt.
Strada says – we like building wheels with DT Swiss 180 hubs because of their superior flange design, which optimizes non-drive side spoke tension which is important on today’s 11 speed wheels. DT Swiss 180 ceramic hubs are the choice of cyclists looking for one of the best engineered, most durable hubs on the road. We also love the easy freehub removal and swap between Campagnolo and Shimano / SRAM for use on different bikes. The easy to swap end caps make it possible to swap between QR and Thru axle in a couple of minutes. This is a surprisingly durable hub with tough bearings. We have witnessed these withstand impressive levels of abuse over several seasons with no noticeable signs of wear. Servicing is quick and easy compared with other high priced options.
DT Swiss utilized its patented star ratchet system to guarantee high load capacity and reliability. The carbon fiber center shell center section saves weight. Ceramic bearings reduce friction and rolling resistance which allows a wheel to roll faster with less power input.
The DT Swiss 180 hub is the ultimate combination of lightweight and reliability. They are perfect for the rider looking for the ultimate professional performance in their hubs. With ceramic bearings and a carbon hub sleeve, DT Swiss combines these characteristics with the legendary Ratchet System® to create a truly exceptional set of hubs.
