The DT Swiss FR 541

The DT Swiss FR 541 rim is broad and robust. It’s 30mm internal and 35mm external in 650B / 27.5 and 29″ is hugely popular with professionals because it can take a hit and keep going.  The FR 541 is hand-built in-house at Strada and as standard is laced to the New Hope Pro5 or DT Swiss 350 hubs.

With the success of the DT Swiss EX511 rim, a more downhill-focused, heavy-hitting rim has been born. On the outside, the FR541 and Ex511 share the same internal and external. However, the FR541 boasts a new reinforced rim construction improving both impact resistance and pinch flat protection. The all new beed hook profile blunts and widens the contact patch width of the tyre during significant impact, which increases the force needed by 17%, allowing you to send it that much more.

The FR 541 includes three different decal colours, allowing for subtle customisation. You can choose stock red, silver/chrome, gold, or black.
